In order to accelerate the penetration of its products on China’s battery market, Alteo joins forces with the China-based group Ginet and creates the joint venture Alteo-Ginet (Suzhou) Lithium Battery Material Technology.
Alteo provides its expertise in these super fine aluminas which are already used in surface coatings for lithium-ion battery separators and electrodes. In turn, Ginet provides the industrial capacity needed to grind alumina powder made by Alteo plant in Gardanne (France), in order to meet the growing demand in this market.
Based in Suzhou, near Shanghai, the dedicated technical-sales team of the joint venture is already in place to accompany our customers in their development.
